Meal Packaging Events: Join us at Higgins Methodist as we host an event where volunteers assemble, package, and box nutrient-dense meals (rice, soy, vegetables, and vitamins) to be shipped worldwide to areas where people are facing food insecurity. Rise Against Hunger is an international hunger relief non-profit organization founded in 1998 that coordinates the packaging and distribution of food and aid to crisis-affected and underserved communities worldwide. They mobilize volunteers to package nutritious meals and support sustainable agricultural projects to achieve global food security and zero hunger. We hope you'll mark the date on your calendar and join us for some fun as we pack meals to feed others around the globe.

Missions Blog
Here at Higgins, we are actively involved in mission work within the community and around the world. Our three-fold focus is on sharing the gospel, serving to meet the needs of others, and building connections. There are many ways you can get involved. Some opportunities may tug at your heart to get involved by participating in a project. Other times, you may feel you could better serve the mission through your prayers or a donation. All levels of involvement are important and very much needed. Our hope is that we will see you out in the field soon, involved in one or more of the upcoming opportunities. Archives
