Hello, ladies! Welcome to Women at the Well. This is a community based women's group where we get together to study God's word, support one another in our spiritual growth, and to create nurturing friendships with other women. Our hope is that together we can grow closer to Christ as we lead others to a loving relationship with him as well.
Some of us may know one another from around town or other activities we have in common. Many already have a church home they love. Some of us may be new to the community or new to the faith and are wanting to know more about Christ and how to build a relationship with the Lord. If we join together as women from all around the area, together we can grow in our faith, learn from each other, and share His word with others. Standing together as women from our local communities, we can be a stronger witness. We challenge you to step out of your comfort zone and join us in sharing God's love with others. Our group name is based on the Bible passage of John 4:4-34. The short video above brings to life this story. We can see a woman who has been rejected, made choices that were not the best, and was not afraid to ask Christ the tough questions. In the process, she comes to know the love of Christ and is ecstatic about sharing what she has learned with others. May we as women also come to know this love and acceptance as we build a closer relationship with Christ.
